TEMPLEEEEE
HELLO HELLO WONDERFUL PEOPLE!!
¿Qué tal?
Anyways, we got to go to the temple with our recent convert! Ahhh, qué milagro! He didn't have a recommend, but the bishop came in clutch right before and interviewed him! So, so special! While there, I was able to see our whole purpose as missionaries and the joy that comes from the people we help come to know God and make everlasting covenants with Him and the joy that comes from that. Also, it was so, so cool because every missionary in our zone (except two—Elsa and Oz, jajaja) was there! Btw, those are the elders' names now...
DIVERTIDO COSAS
☆ Got told by a member, "We don't like the Americans here because of Trump... but don't worry, Hermana, we still like you!"
☆ ZONE CONFERENCE—got to see a lot of my friends :)
☆ I told a member that I liked her bufanda to be nice, and then she ended up giving it to me, jaja.
☆ Played at a park with swings and a seesaw.
☆ So, the golden person who we thought was so close to baptism is ghosting us because we told him that we are solo missionaries and wouldn't send him a photo of just me. Like, bruh, so weird.
☆ IT POURED... AND I MEAN POURED rain on us to the point we were both laughing, singing, totally sopping wet—clothes and all, jajaja.
☆ Accidentally taught my comp how to say "oh my gosh" in English, jaja. She says it so well; it's so funny!
☆ Sang some Frozen 2.
☆ The lady in the photo with us is so, so funny. We were dying laughing with her. She's just a sweet soul!
☆ A member tried contacting us for an appointment because he said the elders in his area don't care about him or answer his messages, jajaja.
MILAGROS
♡ We taught this dude that's the nephew of a member, and he was like, "Yeah, I want to be baptized!" So, first lesson—fecha!
♡ Invited Alvaro to come to church and consider baptism... AND HE CAME TO CHURCH!!! He hasn't done that in over a year, so keep him in your prayers, please.
♡ Got to do baptisms for the dead in the house of the Lord.
♡ Ahhh, we sang in zone conference in three different idiomas, and it turned out so good!
Something Cool:
My comp speaks the language of the Mayans, so Spanish is her second language, but it's so cool! Like, I never thought I'd meet someone like that. She lives up in the mountains in the Sierras, uses the rivers for water, and is a farmer at home.
Thought:
I love, love, love the Book of Mormon and how it's all about our day. It gives us wisdom and knowledge of how to live better lives. It's written for our day to help us know who we are and who our Savior and God are. When we read, we can fill our hearts with the love of God. The Book of Mormon is essential to life. It's most precious among the things of God. Read it! Look for ways to serve others!
My Photos and, most importantly, the videos ;)
