FUNNY-ISH STORY:
So we decided to play soccer as a district, and y'all know soccer is so not my thing, haha. But I was actually able to have really good control of the ball for the most part. Anyways, I had the ball, and one of the elders came CHARGING at me, and instead of kicking the ball hard, he wound up and kicked my shin so, so hard. There's a scar there, haha, and I could not walk on it well at all that whole day. But now I can, so blessings!

I was so glad we got to listen to the Christmas devotional and got a shout-out as a missionary. My favorite quotes from it are:

My favorite part of each day is reading the Christmas stories about Jesus that my mama sent me! It definitely helps me feel loved and a part of the fam still.

GOT TO HEAR A MARIACHI BAND PLAY—gotta get in the Christmas spirit some way! And got to go caroling too.

Took a good, fat nap in the grass—low-key so comfy because it's also in the sun.

My favorite part of being here has been going to the SSO office. I've learned such good things to help me stay focused during class, 'cause y'all know that I love to move, haha.

Low-key don't know what else to say. I do leave next Wednesday, though, and so the next part of the adventure is gonna start. And I'm leaving with all Latinos too, haha—party in Mexico!

GUYS, IT'S SO FUNNY. The guys in our district act like monkeys sometimes, and we are always laughing and haven't changed our personalities to the point everyone has told us we have a party! In other words, we bring the fun.

Low-key, classes are still so long, haha. They go from 2 to 9, but está bien.

HOLAAA BONITA GENTE ♡ How are you?? How’s life?? (Shoot me a life update ;) … don't worry, I always read and try to respond, but I don't have tons of time.) DIVERTIDO COSAS ◇ Basically, our whole zone helped the while mission's future missionaries finish the medical parts of their papers!! So, so fun and so, so tiring at the same time, jaja. ◇ Got to go on a nature walk… not really a hike, but it did remind me of all the scrambling we do on the red cliffs and in Pine Valley… to a waterfall. So, so pretty! ◇ Intercambiossss with my mission mama in Bosques!! ◇ Had some Bible bash wooooo! ◇ Got locked out of the chapel for a bit, jajaja. ◇ I LOVE THE POURING RAIN!! HELLO HELLO WONDERFUL PEOPLE!! ¿Qué tal? Anyways, we got to go to the temple with our recent convert! Ahhh, qué milagro! He didn't have a recommend, but the bishop came in clutch right before and interviewed him! So, so special! While there, I was able to see our whole purpose as missionaries and the joy that comes from the people we help come to know God and make everlasting covenants with Him and the joy that comes from that. Also, it was so, so cool because every missionary in our zone (except two—Elsa and Oz, jajaja) was there! Btw, those are the elders' names now...
