NEW YEAR.. Same Missionary Me ♡
HELLO YOU WONDERFUL, AMAZING CHILDREN OF GOD
I was so so blessed to talk to my family on Christmas, but the rest of the day we went caroling and members fed us too. They even would give us tons of presents and rides everywhere (because this is a walking mission).
We had inter-cambios.. lo siento, I don't know the palabra in English. But it was so cool because I got to see where the first chapel was in Mexico, but it was a different change.
We had a district review, and the chips I was given were so hot I started crying, but there were a couple of American elders that for some reason saw my foot size and wanted to try on my shoes... lowkey weird but funny.
There's one Latino elder in the district I call abuelo because he is 26...
We are hoping Mariana still wants to get baptized Sunday... soooo if y’all need something to pray for ;)
Random thought... but it's so so fun to have bluish-greenish or hazel eyes because it makes me have something cool about myself and got called guapa haha.
FUN FACTS OF THE WEEK:
The power went out.
Hand washed all my clothes.
Cleaned the old house where 2 murders happened to the neighbors (we now live 2 blocks away).
Lots of people told us to be careful and watch out once again because it's a dangerous part of Tula. By the way, I'm in HUERTO, TULA.
I am becoming a capa... basically an STL.
I am besties with a 4-year-old... she ran up to me and gave me a hug. I played with her for 2 hours... and she remembers my name too :)
Inside jokes and nicknames in the district go hard.
BASICALLY... can't finish a plate of food to save my life haha.
MIRACLES:
Every time I prayed for a member to give us a ride away from a sketchy place or we were late... A MEMBER SHOWED UP.
Lots of people came up to us and asked us about the gospel.
I can wash my clothes in a shower... not a bucket.
Able to talk to lots of sisters whose hearts are broken.
Safely home every night.
Anyways, thanks for listening or looking at pics ;) by the way, you are so loved!!
