ITS OFFICIAL.. IM A MISSIONARY AHHHH
WHAT IS UP, BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE!!
Well, I feel like there's not a ton to say since it's home MTC, aha, but it has been a week of 7-hour classes, lots of naps, and some fun things! And bear with me... I'm new to this email thing.
MIRACLE:
I woke up Monday sick—low-key nice it's during home MTC so I can sleep lots—but anyways, my throat was so sore that I could not talk at all, and my body just felt so exhausted. I was able to get a blessing, which helped a ton. But that wasn't even the cool part! STORY TIME... every time I would get on Zoom for my meeting (which spanned my whole afternoon/evening from 12–8), my throat and body felt perfectly normal! When I went back to my family, I became sooo sick again.
Y'ALL, GOD WORKS MIRACLES.
So yeah... the first half of the week was basically boring, ahah.
A couple of sweet people made stops over the week and gave me a fun treat, which was so sweet. And this happened on days that were long, overwhelming, and I was not getting Spanish... soooo thank you. 🙏 Also, it was Maddy's birthday on Wednesday, so I got to run over for a bit to say hi!
Went to the temple with Mama Friday... WAHOO... such a neat experience in the temple!!
IF Y'ALL HAVEN'T BEEN THIS WEEK, YOU NEED TO GO NEXT WEEK! I promise you won't regret it, and take it as a challenge from yours truly. :)
FINALLY made it to PDAY... Saturday. AHHH! So we went bowling to celebrate Brighton's birthday, and I'll talk to some amigos later today!
I hope you guys know that I have the best district EVER and comps too. I'm in a trio with Hermana Bullock and Hermana Hancock—who I met at the Mexican consulate—and she plays b-ball!!!!! So you know I will be balling out here soon.... Oh, I also leave next Thursday, sooo lucky me, ahah. My district is all trying to guess each other's heights, and the winner gets a churro from each person at the CCM... right now, I'm feeling pretty confident in my guesses.
Oh yeah... the fire alarm went off during a class, so it was an adventure listening to class while having that go off in the background.
Honestly... this week was sooo overwhelming and a lot. There were some good days with Spanish and bad ones. It's the longest time ever on Zoom... until you become besties with your district/teachers, so you start laughing the whole time. The best day with Spanish was last night... I UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING THE TEACHER WAS SAYING... WAHOOOOOO!! And he only speaks Spanish! Not gonna lie... sitting for basically 8 hours a day gets sooo exhausting, so I had to get outside every chance I could get.
Love you all & hoping you're living your best life possible!
Love,
Hermana Adams
P.S. Shoot me an email and give me a life update. ;)
Walk inbetween class... if you cant tell im exhausted
TEMPLE-- we did an endowment session :)
This consisted of my everyday grid... for a couple hours a day. Basically getting ready to ball up at the CCM.
